Strega Liquore 40% abv 70cl Single Pot Still Metaxa is fine Greek drinkStrega Liquore is an old Italian classic, an aromatic liqueur gently flavoured with over 70 herbs and barks, and coloured with saffron. The name means "witch" in Italian, and comes from its history used as a tonic to ensure the union of lovers. The flavour is subtle, slightly herbal with vague notes of vanilla and liquorice, but a nice dry finish. Perfect for sipping as an after dinner digestif, Strega is also commonly used in fruity Italian desserts.
