Llanyrafon Manor Size:Kirchensaller Reputedly introduced in 1790 byA Welsh perry pear from Monmouthshire. Round pale green skin with some dark russet. Found in the grounds of Llanyrafon Manor in Cwmbran, it is thought that the cider and perry orchards there were to provide for the farm labourers once housed there, especially during hay making season.
